CALCULATE YOUR WATER INTAKE

Do you wait until you’re thirsty to drink water? Thirst is a sign of dehydration, not just a drop in water levels. Here’s an easy way to calculate your daily water intake: drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces.

SCHEDULE ANY/ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Your Annual Physical
  • Annual Dental/Cleaning Exam 
  • Annual Eye Exam
  • Age-Appropriate Checkups (Mammogram, Colonoscopy, etc.)
  • Vaccinations (tetanus, measles, chickenpox, seasonal flu, and COVID-19)

CUT PROCESSED FOOD AND SUGAR

Processed foods often contain added sugars like high fructose corn syrup, which provide no essential nutrients but add many calories. Regularly consuming too much added sugar can also lead to compulsive overeating.

REVIEW AND DISCUSS YOUR HOUSEHOLD BUDGET

Effective money management means meeting daily financial needs, handling unexpected expenses, and saving for the future. By controlling your finances, you reduce stress and boost security, allowing you to enjoy family life without constant money worries.

FOCUS ON GRATITUDE AND REFLECTION

Mental well-being is key to our happiness and success. It affects how we handle stress, build connections, and make decisions. When our minds are positive, we navigate challenges better and live more fulfilling, resilient lives. Prioritizing mental health helps us embrace life’s opportunities with confidence.

BEGIN WORKING ON YOUR MASTERPIECE

Get creative start working on your piece for the art show. You’ll have all month, but when completed, upload your artwork to our Padlet gallery—whether it’s sculptures, paintings, drawings, or even you playing an instrument! Don’t have any art? No problem! Simply color one of the pages provided. It’s all about celebrating creativity together.
